This poem — Klausenpass — was originally published in the wonderful 14poems, edited by Ben Townley-Canning. Ben publishes three anthologies per year, each containing (unsurprisingly) fourteen poems by LGBTQ+ writers. I was very happy to have this poem accepted for Issue 15, which also contains a magnificent poem by the great Richard Scott.
Yesterday, Ben published a recording of me reading this poem on the 14poems Instagram page. I thought I’d repost it here, for any followers who don’t use that particular form of social media.
